On The Sofa

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy judge Carrie, 42, explains why she'd swap her hubby for Wentworth Miller.

Who's the sexiest man on telly?

Wentworth Miller from Prison break. Oh, my God: he's to die for! I've been married [to David Grant]for 20 years but I think I could stray for Wentworth.

What's your favourite television moment of all time?

When Torvill and Dean won gold at the Olympics on 1984. I love it when you're shouting at the telly to will someone to win, and then they do!

Who's your favourite TV personnality of all time?

I think Tommy Cooper was a genious. Everything he did or said was hilarious and he didn't even need a script. These days Catherine Tate is amazing. Her talent just leaves me in awe.

Do you prefer Corrie or Eastenders?

Eastenders. I've never really watched Corrie - maybe it's because I'm a cockney southener. I watched it once and there were no black people in it so it was out of touch with reality.

How many TV sets are there in your house?

Two. We've got two really big lounge rooms with no TVs. One has a piano and one is for reading. Then we have a little diary room with a big TV. I'd never let my daughters have TVs in thier rooms.

What's your favourite programme?

It's 24 - I'm catching up on it because I've only just got into it, so I've bought all the seasons on dvd. Jack Bauer is great eye candy!

What makes you turn the television off?

Strangely enough, most talent shows. It's a bit close to work. I watched a bit of The X Factor because I loved Leona. Wierdly, I judged a telent show years ago and put her first then and I was interested to see where she'd get after that.

What's the show you'd like to bring back from the past?

I think they should do a 2007 version of Sunday Night At The London Palladium. I love programmes that show normal members of the public who have been doing thier craft for years.

What do you snack on in front of the telly?

Red wine - and when David and I are being naughty we have vanilla ice cream too!
