Carrie, 40, is the flame-haired dive who put pop idol andfame academy contestants through thier paces. She lives in London with husband and fellow vocal coach David, 50, and daughters, Olivia, 11, Talia, four, and Imogen, five months.

TV! If you're in on your own, what do you secretly watch on the telly?
I loce CSI. My husband Davids's taped about 20 episodes for me because i've been away filming a new show in South Africa. I can't wait to start that TV marathon!

FOOD! What can't you help yourself snacking on, even though you know you shouldn't?
My weakness is potato gretin. I usually have it with salmon fillet and salad. Potatoes are acctually really good for you. They're low in calories and fat and high in vitamin C. It's the cheese in the gretian that's not good.

CRUSH! Do you have a secret celebrity crush?
Bono really does it for me, and Jeremy Sheffield, who is just beautiful. they're both gorgeous, gentle anf unny. I want to be rescued by them.

BAD HABITS! What's your grubbiest habit?
Biting my lips and picking other people's spots. If someone's in front of me with a spot that needs squeezing, i can't ignore it. I have to to tell them to go and deal with it.

HOLS! Where's the tackiest place you've ever been on holiday and loved?
David and I spent thousands on a holiday to Barbados. It sounded so posh and we were really excited, but then when we got there, it was full of Brits with Union Jck towels. but it was great and we did have fun. We try to get away from London as often as we can - we've got a secret hidaway in Newport, Wales.

MUSIC! What's the most tragic CD you have in your collection?
I'm into John Legend and Keane, but my kids listen to the spice girls and steps. there's an S club revival going on in our house - we still have a regular dose of pop. We even went to see take that recently.

FASHION! Which item in your wardrobe would shock the fashion police?
I have a penchant for George at asda. I live in my asda black velour tracksuit, especially on fat tummy days. A few years ago, i was papped with two of my daughters and my childminder's daughter, all of us dressed in George clobber!

FILMS! What's the cheesiest film you own?
Sleepless in Seattle makes me cry. I love the bit where they go to the top of the empire state building. I'm a real romantic.

SPENDING! What did you snap up in your last big spending spree?
Lots of new clothes as i've got my figure back after having Imogen!

CRINGE! What's your most humiliating experience?
I was appearing on a TV show with this lady, and when i asked why she was there, i thought she said she was a champion ice skater. I responded by saying how brilliant that was, and she looked really offended. When we went on air, she was introduced as the only surviving victim of Fred and Rosemary West. It was a terrible case of completely mishearing something. I was mortified.
