Carrie On Camera

No stranger to Reality TV, Carrie Grant from Fame Academy felt right
at home from the second she moseyed into The Salon for her manicure
with Sarah.

So at home, in fact, that she felt comfortable launching into an
immediate interrogation of the Beauty Therapist and the rumours
currently flying about that she was spotted holding hands with
Stylist Leo in Leicester Square last night.

Broaching the subject by questioning Sarah on which of the male
Stylists she would least like to see leave as a result of the public
vote, the Beauty Therapist admitted to Carrie that she cares most
about Leo, 'cos he's [her] best friend'.

Carrie then cut straight to the chase, asking Sarah what had happened
in Leicester Square last night - gossip she'd stumbled across
courtesy of Manager Paul.

"We were linking arms," Sarah insisted. "Leo's engaged and I've been
with someone a long time," she went on, giving Carrie a meaningful
look.

But Ms Grant wasn't convinced, and when the Stylist in question
wandered over for a chat some time later, she was quick on the case.

"What happened in Leicester Square last night?" she demanded.

Leo shifted uncomfortably in his chair for a few seconds, before
replying, "oh, is this about us supposedly holding hands?"

"You know when it's cold..." he tailed off, his explanation going no
further.

Carrie had another suggestion for why the pair had been linked
together.

"Sometimes you get a connection with someone, and you wouldn't do
anything about it, but you can't look at them 'cos they are a bit
hot?" she proposed.

"We're not like that!" Leo scoffed.

"We're just best friends, that's it!" answered Sarah, equally
indignant.

For the second time this morning the 'are they or aren't they'
conversation was interrupted by Stylist Richard, who plonked himself
between them and Carrie, and began singing We Are Family very loudly.
